    Default Plants Differences

    Hello guys what’s up?

I live in the southeastern region of Brazil, and here the supply of cannabis comes from Paraguay. We got marijuana in its "pressed" (also called “brick weed”) form. Often, this brick comes with seeds.
As I had some seeds, I decided to plant them. Initially, I thought that all the seeds would be of the same strain (I read that Paraguayan marijuana is 100% sativa). However, with a few months of cultivation, I started to realize that there are some differences in my plants.
Here are some pictures. Plants 1, 3 and 4, I believe they are of the same strain. Plant 2 is a little different. It's color is lighter, has the tip of the leaf thinner, and its leaves are more widely spaced. Plants 1, 2 and 3 are approximately 2 months old and plant 4 is 3 months old.
I know it is difficult to determine the strain, especially with so much hybridization and coming from an unknown source, but, what do you think? Does 1, 3 and 4 have more characteristics of indica, and 2 more of sativa? Do you think they are really from a different strain or am I crazy?

They could be cousins so they are related or from a non-stablised strain.

Also, the leaf structure is only one of the physical traits, how the plants branch, their height, flavours and effects can come out similar or different. There are many variables and even if someone had clones from the same plant, the grow environment can bring about a different outcome between the clones.

    Thanks for your answer!

Yes, for sure I do need to pay attention to another characteristics besides the leaves.

A diary definitely is as good idea.

Many farms get polluted by other farms as pollen will travel further than most think.

I didn’t check all the photos as am on a small iPod and the way I’m sitting isn’t comfy.

1 & 3 are definitely look indica 4 looks more sativa Dom to me than 1 & 3. 2 looks a bit half and half however it looks like it’s slightly sativa Dom

To get a mix outa brick weed is no surprise what will be interesting is how good they are in the end.
I did once and never again can’t rem why think it was because of so many unknowns, not how well it smoked
    They look good atm.

That was a bit of a cop out saying “ Many farms get polluted by other farms as pollen will travel further than most think“
    It’s not the only reason.
There are loads of other things that can influence outside gorilla grows.

It may of started with one strain ( or may not ) however it will get diluted by other farms and even other grows they may have going on.
As going to end up pressed there not going to pull out there best strains and make sure they only collect from certain plants.
Once it’s dried they will just throw a load of seeds in a bucket witch they will plant again in most cases.
You might find some farmers with some good nice pure land strains ; they won’t be brick weed thought.
In most countries were there are gorilla grows they seeded weed weight by the sack inc seeds.

As much as I loathe to I’ll be harsh with you for a second and tell you next time get some better seeds from a merchant not a bag ; years ago with threads all over the place about bag seed not being great ( not saying one iota you won’t get a nice grow ) I thought I’ll try it.
From then on I brought them from a merchant ,as time went on I ended up getting into breading and grew my own quite a lot that does take serious time though.

Witch ever way your going to have better stuff ( than brick weed ) soon as they look nice.
Good luck and interesting thread too follow I’ll be honest

Don’t worry i wont spam your thread I just wasn’t happy with my explanation of why there’s differences,a near by farm doesn’t really explain.
Not including my appalling spelling last reply.

And you seemed interested as to why.

The seeds could of started of as all sativas however your going to get a % that have other charismatics ( spelling ? ) like one may lean towards being more indica, eventually planting the mix of collected seeds ends up as a mixture of strains.

Pretty simple dunno how I made it complicated.

Even a 5 packet of breeders seeds will have one that normally a different phenotype.
