Default Electrical Advice Needed - AC to DC

Hello all I have a 80w 24v DC motor I want to attach to a pollen tumbler. Could any one advise what adapter I need to plug it into UK mains?

    Many thanks.

Any 240v to 24v DC transformer with say 100w capacity just to give you some head room will do for hard wiring, there's loads on ebay...If its a specific plug end you need then you will need to know the size of the plug and its polarity if the motor has a specific rotation direction...

Thanks Bud, what about amp ratings? Also could I fit a speed controller and if so would I fit it before or after the transformer.

DC....24V @ 100W = 4.167 Amps...You can do the controlling on either low or high side IE 240v or 24v...A basic 240v fan speed controller should do the trick on the high 240v side...

    Something like this should do...Ebay Item # 254519063778 DC 24V 5A 120W
