    Default Lets talk Pot....s

Good morning to the good folk of THCtalk.

I am going to be going into my next grow within the next few weeks and want to talk pots. The size of my next pots will be 25ltrs as one of them will be grown in a living soil but out of all the different type of pots just which one stands out above the rest or is it just horses for courses.

    Pots:

    Basic round pots
    Square pots
    Fabric round
    Fabric square
    Air pots

Do any of these really stand out and do make a difference or are they just personal prefference?

I find airports and fabric pots to be roughly equivalent in what they will produce. Air pots do hold a little bit less as they will say you know five gallon equivalent and actually have about a three and a half gallon capacity. So you do use less in growing medium. Over time I guess that would be a better deal, but the upfront cost on AirPot is quite a bit higher than the fabric pot.

    Morning Jingo,

is there a big difference between basic pots and fabric/air pots or is it minimal?

I love air pots for being able to wash my coco inside them, without creating a mess in my bath..

big difference between reg and air/felt, I still use hard sided pots as technic to reduce growth and to slow a plant down.

I've never had any issues with fabric ones, 3x cheaper than áir pots but I'd say air ones are very handy to clean after grow.

I like the fabric/air pots because it's very hard to over water them.
My fabric pots I dump everything out turn them inside out and put
them through the washing machine with no detergent just water
and the come out nice and clean.
