    Default Answered: Dehumidifier location?

Hi all, I’ve got a issue

Just flipped my plants to flower, and noticed lights off I’m getting a Rh of 85% and that’s not good. But I don’t have any floor space to sit a dehumidifier either I’ve just about got room to stuff my rad in and it’s not ideal.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Other ways are to increase your temps, (depending on what you're already hitting)..so let's say you're on 24-26c, raising it 2-3c will help.

Make sure you have good air circulation on the plants too, I've recently read one of the members had some bad bud rot, even when keeping humidity under control."

I have my dehumidifier sat outside the tent with the intake pipe sucking the air blowing from the dehumidifier

Not sure what exact model dehumidifier you have but most suck from the side blow out from the top. If you have some spare ducting, use it with a metal coat hanger to keep the shape, and feed it from the top to the vent!

What I'm doing is using the dehumidifier to set a certain humidity level in the room the passive air is getting pulled into the tent, so I don't need to place the dehumidifier right next to the vent, it will all depend on your area outside the tent mate.

I do know some use cardboard boxes and ducting to take the dehumidified air straight from the unit into the tent they are growing in

I’ve got a small one at the moment, only like a small 2/3 ltr one so that’s not good enough.

Il order something in the next few days, good idea with the ducting lads il give it a go. I’m growing in my garage so I need something that’s powerful enough. Can anyone recommend me anything decent?
