I've tried 11, 8, 5, 3 and 2. 2 was a bit too little... dried out too fast. I only have 100cm height tho so i have to train a lot in the 11 litre and they get wide and bushy. Dropping down to 1 at a time (from 2) so going to try the 11 litre again.
8 worked well too. I prefer fabric pots... seem to yield better.

You can start in any size however starting in one litre Pots avoids over watering witch is very easy and causes big problems then you can transplant as needed.
I can’t stress enough how easy it is to overwater seedlings in a big pot.

If you’ve got it down to a art 6l or bigger depending on how long your going to veg is fine.

If your asking a general question about what everyones using to flower in i will do 5l or 6l alought sometimes I let things veg a lot longer and they end up in 20l pots.

Sorry Chunksdependable I didn’t mean to be I dunno the word atm too late & about to get some zzzzs in.

I haven’t been here long enough to know who knows what by the looks of it your do.
gonna have to get used to you folks knowing your stuff.

Last time I engaged with a online growing forum most folks were asking how to germinate,so every growing question was replied to with that in mind.

looks like this is a total difference place.

Are you growing Photos or Autos?

If Autos plant your seed in it's final pot, don't transplant. 11 litres is perfect for my 80cm x 50 cm x 1.8 metre wardrobe.

If a Photo a bit larger pot will do depending on how long you veg for.
