Default first grow, trichomes and harvesting

    hello Everyone

i am 11 weeks into 3 super skunk autos. tried these as a bit of practice. never done this before. i have researched trichomes and what colour they should be , clear, milky, amber but i am trying to get a second opinion of when i should flush, (if necessary), stop feeding and watering and when i should cut the plant down. i only have two plants on the go and i had problems with watering and germination so one plant is like 2 weeks ahead of the other in the flowering stage. One seed never germinated at all but i put this down to lack of watering experience on my part when i started. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards.

You need a jewelers loupe to have a closer look inside the buds, this will give you a clearer indication as to if they are ready or not. I've just bought a WiFi microscope that connects wirelessly to your phone.

I've never grown autos but I know some people have issues with the trichs going Amber.

This is a good guide for when to harvest.

I will second what Badg has said, you definitely need a loupe to get a closer look

I’ve got a auto on 11.5 weeks and not a amber in sight, so she’s coming down any day
