    Here is an apple sorbet
I used up some old apple flavored syrups
I use a product called 210S to treat a simple syrup (2:1 sugar to water ratio, cooks illustrated invert sugar recipe)
Standard freezer method (freeze alcohol and decarbed cannabis), alcohol extraction using everclear 190 proof
I make 300ml (1 and 1/4 cups) of syrup, split it in two and treat one batch with the 210S using a hand blender, I use the other batch and pour the 5ml of reduced tincture on top of the syrup and place in a double boiler set up and evaporate the rest of the alcohol (15 minutes)
Pour the treated syrup with the 210S into the breaker/jar with the syrup/tincture reduction and mix with a hand blender
The end product is a pale green syrup that is ready to be flavored or substituted into recipes
Only hurdle so far is carbonation
The syrup comes apart when poured, plain, into club soda or tonic waters going to contact modernist pantry about this
Limited success with strawberry puree added to the syrup and poured into club soda, but the gold standard is the syrup holding up in carbonation on its own

I have to record the video on a day my back is not bothering me and I can remain completely sober, usually 2 or 3 days a week
This tincture has a water cure and is processed by freezer method to reduce as much of the cannabis taste as possible
It remains in the background of flavors like peach and melon but covers up nicely with citrus, berries, cinnamon
I am trying to find filtering methods that are not as intricate as a Buchner funnel and activated charcoal

I always just use coffee filters and let the extract drip through that. I've got a Buckner funnel haven't actually used it I was planning on using it for winterizing, I'd have to do that under vacuum.

I am using a stainless steel cone filter lined with a paper filter inside a ceramic dripper with a 90 micron bag folded over

You probably would be happier if you were winterizing, you would need a very cold freezer and you would have to use your buckner funnel under vacuum. I simply mix up a big batch of tincture and let it sit in the freezer long enough for most of the lipids and waxes and other stuff to settle out on the bottom. Then you can just draw off that top stuff and use the stuff on the bottom for something that's better at hiding the flavor. I think you get a lot more chirpings in the waxes when you're doing ethanol extractions and that probably lends to the taste.

Trying to explore as many avenues as possible for ingestion
An illness in my family prompted me to start researching edibles
Looking to bring infused edibles to folks who may have trouble swallowing or holding down solid food
Foams, gels, shakes with as little cannabis taste as possible
Eyeballing thc powder, ripple is a powder form of thc that is water soluble, it is made with sorbitol, modified food starch, and mct oil
I may experiment with this but the process might involve dehydration (spray drying or convection oven)or freeze drying (expensive equipment)
