    I do winterize
Looking at peltier devices and dry ice methods
I have removed most of the taste but not all. the buchner, some activated charcoal and celite may eliminate the taste completely but it comes with possible cannabinoid loss and contamination of the tincture from the vacuum process if you are not careful
Need chemistry and organic chemistry refresher to save myself some time and better understand the process and terminology, woefully ignorant
Binge watch Bill Nye!!! Seriously though, need the refresher
Vacuum pump due Friday, practice filtering some vaped weed
I tilt my jar of tincture in a bowl and put it in the freezer, I then use a syringe to draw the tincture from the top edge leaving a lot of sediment but folks have stated that the taste is from the chlorophyll
That requires a more thorough filter

I've never tasted distilled THC so I can't comment on that, but it's probably the cheapest method of getting rid of all those things that are left after your process.

Using molecular gastronomy to do my infusion
If you check out modernist pantry you will find a ton of products and videos, disclaimer-i do not work for them, they helped me a lot
Distillate and shatter are very easy to work with in molecular gastronomy, not everyone has access
This project was for folks who may only have access to flower and maybe xanthan gum or gum acacia
There is still honey and agave which are much easier to infuse, I just find the simple syrup to be more versatile and when I made apple pie filling that basically sealed it for me, in one batch of syrup I made blueberry sorbet and apple pie filling by separating the syrup and flavoring each portion

I rolled the dough too thin, the sorbet on the left in the picture at the top is the blueberry sorbet, both of these treats were from one batch of syrup, still best guessing the dosing

No worries on the posting, more detail is useful for everybody.

I've seen guys water cure their buds before but I've never noticed them come out looking as good as yours.

I keep the buds whole and use distilled water in a mason jar, hold the buoyant flower down with a silicone cupcake liner

Here is some of my water cures
The purple colored wash is from a strain called purple monkey balls which I am making a natural decarb tincture for my spine, this wash took 4 days and water changes to get to clear, my tincture will be ready in mid February but I saw a post that thc-a may help with spinal issues so I may try it this weekend
Just a note, in the picture on the left the mason jar on the left is apple flavored simple syrup not wash from a cannabis cure

Nice! I know THCV is great for nerve pain, but the last I checked in my state the labs that claim to test for it were just too hard to access for me. I think it was probably high THCV that attracted me to a lot of the old school weed.

    I read a miniscule amount on thc-v
Seemed like they were saying it was easiest to achieve through combustion
