Thread: PH Rising after feed a lot (newbie)

    So day after I’ve noticed the leaves have gone a lot lighter almost a iceberg lettuce colour. Ph is more stable at 6.2 but I’ve lowered my ppm down to 570 or around an ec of 1.1.
    Am I right in thinking the stronger nutes are what’s caused change of leaf colour?

    It's usually lower nitrogen that gives a lighter colour. The lucas formula is bare minimum nitrogen and the leaves are lime green.

    There are many that have an ec of 1.1 for vegging plants and have darker leaves. I've never heard of Monkey Nutrients but I'm confident that the Grow won't be short of N. A possibility is you giving them lots of light, 2 x 600 hps. It can happen that the plant grows quicker than she can uptake nutes, so weaker = paler leaves. Yours might have hit a growth spurt that makes even the higher ec not enough. Difficult to say without pics.

    That's not what I'd call yellow.

    idk about the white veins, someone else might.
