Its made from recycled glass bottles and is just a much more sharp, irregular shape then perlite. The company went out of business last year so I've heard. Shame as it was a good product.

I think they're more the meth and redbull type.

Where do I buy these mate?

These gnat b******* are gonna wipe out my young plants if I don’t wipe them out soon.

Already seeing yellow ness of their young leaves die to the lack of water at top, been watering only from bottom. One plant may be too young to survive. Sad times ????

    Oh yikes!!!

I saw one of these dudes in my first grow.

It was a large worm that looked like it had 2 heads! Very weird looking creature. Not too keen to introduce these to my tent incase they escape ????

The neem oil seems to have cleared up this problem, very quickly. A tiny amount of it (half teaspoon) mixed into 500ml warm water with a drip of dishwashing liquid, and sprayed onto the top soil.

I guess the gnats will now be just flying around until their life ends, whether they get stuck into the tape or fry on top of my light.

    Highly recommend this stuff )

I heard he's in a nice retirement home by the sea, one where residents are treated with respect for their efforts in WWII, not used as punch bags by angry 'care workers'
