    Default Unanswered: Night time temps

Hi peeps. My question is simple. My temps in the groom at 25/26 lights on. Lights off they drop to around 18/19. As its getting colder this will drop further. Is it ok to have the same temps day and night or will I run into issues? I no i will if temps get too low when lights are off anyway. Do i keep my heaters on when my lights turn off?
    Cheers

I'm using a controller that does everything for me but it doesn't have a day and night temp so I'm limited to same temps day and night but it's all good.

You could have 2 heaters both running off timers, set one at day temp and other at night temp obviously with corrosponding times with light cycle

I used to have one of these heater controllers, has a sensor for day/night and 2 temp settings.

Ye I have a temp controller dudes. Sorry should have explained more haha. My problem is I already run heaters outside the tent, an oil rad and a fan heater it does the job nicely but I have no more plug space (safely anyway) or I would just get another heater and have it set lower for night times. So I think I've answered my own question really hahaha. Same temps night and day it is. Its nice to be able to ask someone these things u know. Haha.

Having a constant temp won't hurt your plants it's just not the 'perfect environment'.

If you have hps lighting you could set your heater up to ideal night time temps and let the hps bring up the temps for your ideal lights on temp with fans kicking in cooling down when it gets too hot?

Running led dude. I've taken the plunge and removed the timer from the heater.
