Stillmixs oil hash thread.

Well that magnetic thing came.
It’s still made in China however it came from a uk company with a uk plug.

Tried it out earlier it’s not bad for my needs,didn’t take long to boil & will hold upto 2000ml.
Smoking some of the oil I made from it now enjoyable

Glad it came today I was down to one joint of bubblehash & didn’t feel like making any the oil was a 2nd run I had on the window sill.

I’ve had one of these (different make) and found that I couldn’t control the temps. It was such a ball ache I sent it back. Will be interesting to hear how you get on with this.

Making larger batches was causing me problems trying to get all the iso out without burning it in the rice cooker wasting using the sill in the first place.
With the spinning it seems to work without burning it.
I must admit I didn’t have to mess about with the temperature albeit I Would like to test it longer to say how I feel about it in total so far it’s worked out ok & seems a good buy guess time will tell

I've seen those magnetic stirrers on youtube vids, look like a must have tool. Keeps it nice and consistent

Think I wreaked my still I left it on to high a heat with nothing in it the metals burnt in the centre last oil I made didn’t taste right think it’s adding the burnt metal to it.

Shucks I was ready to make some alcohol in it now I don’t think I should use it for anything.
Guess from what I’ve herd a air still would be more suited to oil.

Wow I wish I had 3 hands to show you what passes as “ oil for cancer patients “ I have.
I smoked some before I went to bed & knew immediately it had to much iso left in it as my the nerve above my eye started “twitching”.
When I woke up I put some on the dabber & lit it & it went up like a house on fire.
Glad I have that magnetic heating stirring thing.
Did figure I could still use my still if I put a pot in the bottom like I did first time so the iso mix isn’t touching the burnt bit at the bottom till I get a air still.

The magnetic heating thing saves the day.
Like it so far no problems with the temperature I only use it at half it’s max.
Doing two jobs on the weed side one;
Emptied the last bit in the bucket into my bags & cropping some fresh weed I got to feeeze & make into bubble got some quite a bit of nice sticky plants branches it was my Xmas present to myself.

Ahh I see a bit of stalk I missed photos seem good for noticing things you miss nvm it’s all going in the bags so I didn’t trim much,mainly just threw away the rubbish.
