Default Big Box Store soils WITHOUT wood chips?? Canada

Tried searching but found nothing specific to what i am asking.
Do any Canadians know of soils that you can buy at the big box stores (Canadian Tire, Home Depot, etc..) that DO NOT contain wood chips, It seems everyone of them no matter what they are called have big chunks of wood in them. I have found in cases that my roots and stems have had to grow around said wood pieces, and it's really starting to P#$@$ me off.

    Thoughts?

I know what you mean, when I first started growing in my area everything had lumber in it. I used to screen my soil through quarter inch carpenters cloth, that's just a quarter inch metal screen stapled on some 2x4s. It's kind of a pain but then you really get to see what it is you're buying and mix it up the way you want it.

You probably won't find much quality at a big box store. Check out a local garden supply or grow shop.

WallyWorld, Home Depot, and Lowe's carry them down South. Wally World only has it spring and summer, but the other stores carry it all year round.

You can order it off there webb site. You want the bag that comes in 1.3 cuft, not the 25 gallon bag. It is all right, but it doesn't last but 3 months. The 38gallon or 1.3 cuft bag last the whole grow. I haven't use any nutes, since I've been using it. I did 4 plants last grow, and got 20 Dried and curred oz, after two months in jars.
