Default Best way of making cbd/ thc oil.

Hi, my cbd critical mass plants are nearing cropping.
My plan is to make as much good oil as I can and maybe leave a couple of ounces for smoking.
I've researched a fair bit and my initial idea on how to make a good oil was to use the magical butter machine with mct oil.
I prefer this method as I don't want to mess about with iso or other flammables.
The main reason for me growing is as pain relief, so I think oil would be perfect for me. If I have a bit of bud, that will help with fast pain relief if I smoke it while waiting for the oil to work.

Does anyone else have any other ways of making good oil?
The magical butter machine is quite pricey, but its a set and forget machine. However I'm open to any suggestions from past oil makers.
    Thanks in advance,

A slow cooker could be useful as the heat settings is adjustable and widely available. A damp towel around the lid of the pan or slow cooker helps with limiting the spread of smell, but usual fire preventitive procedures apply.

Thanks for the links Valentina, I was a bit dubious about using a cream but after reading the links, I think it is worth while for me to try and make both, obviously depending on how much I get from my crop.
