Default Trying to reveg after harvest

    Hello,

It was my first grow ever and I managed a good harvest indoors in a tent.

After harvest, I read online that it's possible, instead of throwing away the dead plant, to put it back into vegetation stage.

I couldn't find exact advice on that, but I followed the steps and now I'm trying to reveg. I removed all flowers and leaves, left the skeleton only.

Problem is, 1 week in, nothing is happening. The plant is still alive, I can see a couple of super tiny green leaves on it (That were already there).

Has anyone had any experience with doing something like this? I read it can take a while, but not sure how long to wait for this experiment.

Any advice from anyone who has experience in this, is very appreciated.

    Thank you

I think it may just be a case of waiting for it to sort itself out, give it 24 hrs of light and it should eventually just start to re veg, I think

Ive always re vegged clones, plant seems easier, as roots are eatablished. Give a little feed. Low ec. Low lights, 24h, after 2-3 weeks magic happens

I've re-vegged a harvested plant. I left some leaves on it and trimmed the roots by the same % that I had removed growth up top.

It took ages before I could get cuttings from it. Almost the same time as it would take to do another seed grow.

Oh that is all very useful advice and very hopeful too.

I have it on 18-6 hour circle based on an article online. I'll switch it to 24 following the advice here and let's hope for the best.

I know it may take a while but I thought it would be a lot faster than seedling, since the roots are well established and the stem pretty thick.

    Let's see

First off this is a photo period plant correct? Auto won't work.
That said keep it on 18-6 and water only until you get new
growth. It does take a while so be patient.
Another thing is it really is it worth it unless you have a pheno
that you don't want to lose.

Same here, you may not have much luck without leaving a couple leaves on.

You need the leaves for the plant to continue growing. If you have some tiny ones then it'll probably just take a lot longer as it'll have to grow some larger ones before it really gets going again

    No photo synthesis without leaves.

Yeah I think I messed up. I removed everything and left a bare skeleton there. I thought the small flowers would confuse it...
Anyway no stress it's all good. I'll give it 2 more weeks and if nothing happens I'll throw it out.
It was good fun trying anyway Thanks everyone
