I can't help with led but I've just done a grow in a similar space with a 315w cmh. It suits the space very well.

I wouldn't recommend cmh as a new purchase but now that led is popular, used cmh can go for not much money. Worth a look on the bay imo just in case there is a bargain waiting for you.

LED wise I'd suggest a board off one of the sponsors but vivid seems to be backordered atm, budget led is worth a look, they're stateside though so if you wanna get goin asap you may wanna try someone in the UK. Only LED lights I've used are invisible sun boards and migro aray, all been solid although I haven't done a full grow with aray yet.

HLG led from vivid for a real Quantum Board. You can go elsewhere for inferior quality.

An 80 by 80 is a 1.5 light space but for 2 plants a single 260w light should do you very well.

Great to have you here, Jimbop. Also have a look at the LED diary section if you want to see what others achieve with their LED lamps.

Take a look on Alibaba,if you can wait upto 2 weeks for the light you can save a lot of money.
Bought 2x240w boards samsung diodes, meanwell drivers, and express shipping cheaper than buying 1 board domestically, all depends if you want a brand name sticker slapped on the board for double the money or not.

    Hi Jimbop
I just bought a pair of Mars Hydro TSW 2000s and they seem to be a pretty sweet shine for the money. This is a dimmable 300W seedling-to-harvest unit and would be more than adequate for that size tent. I'm in the States and I paid $270 (£200) each. My units are in a maiden Vivosun 80x150x200 tent. They are sturdy and quite fetching. The tent is a limousine.
Give them a peek, and Google a discount code somewhere, you might get easy. It's labelled on the box in small face, in case you have snoops about.
    Merry Christmas!

I got these two 130W from Budget LED: Paid 152 for one, and 162 for the other. If you wait until Christmas or New Year, or 420 sale, you can get these for around 130.00 each that's USD. They are just putting out 50W at the movenment.

    Very bright.

I keep seeing what folk are paying for these copy lights and then see that HLG are not too much more. I think the copiers are getting greedy
