Looking very good and your thread keeps springing to mind when i see it.

Nice drain to waste setup, par meters, big plants growing in cups and struggling with pot bind.

Something special around the corner i think

Just thought I'd drop in and update how these are going in the 3.8lt fabric pots now they're coming to the end. They're smashing it 11 feeds a day definitely won't be a loss in yield from the last time in this little space. If the stem on this plant got any bigger it will be as big as the pot lol

If anyone is interested in growing in small pots don't be scared of root bound or the old myth 'big roots big fruits' I believe this proves that's not true, obviously within reason on the veg time....

Veg time on this run was around 4 weeks, in the hight of flower they was being fed 11 times a day this is my best run in this little space (3rd run)

    The results are...

    Total 1377g
    G's per square foot 49.9
    Gpw 1.53

I'm not trying to say this is a big yield what I'm trying to get at is I see people using 15-20lt pots of coco with 4 weeks veg which is a total waste of coco, if you can't setup a little watering system to water multiple times a day then fair enough bigger pots will be needed but by doing that you aren't getting the full potential of coco and might as well grow in soil imo, once them roots are established get that coco wet multiple times while the lights are on. I believe 8.2oz per plants in a 1gal (3.8l) fabric pot is decent. I'm sure I can get my veg time down to 3 weeks and possibly push a little more out of these plants with some crop steering.

I'll definitely stick to using this method I'm using half the coco I normally would use and the growth rate in veg with multiple feeds is not far off hydro speed. I'm saving money on coco and I'm not carrying loads of bags so it saves my old man back which is another bonus lol

    Few buds shots

    Nice grow man..
Agree with you on the small pots, I've got 13.5 oz off a tree in a 3.5l pot under 600w hps before, had a long ass veg tho, hand watered twice a day

Congrats on the harvest m8 and the size of it considering the small pots wow, may have to look into coco in the future when I’ve got the dough for everything, that last flower shot before chopping looks smashing man

Cheers mate. Tbh the setup is fairly cheap, the expensive part is the iws brain bucket. This is a quick list...

Nearpow timer from amazon because you can program down to seconds so you can get them shot sizes small for ideal crop steering methods.

    Iws brain bucket

Small Medusa Baseline Trays only £6 each some hosetails will be needed for the trays.

I used 13mm pipe for waste just to make it easier to work with

I used 13mm feed lines from the pump in the res, must be looped to keep a even flow to drippers. I used 13mm to 4mm cross connections with blue wilma drippers, (4mm dipper line must be the same length for every pot to keep the flow even. I will be changing my drippers for slower flow next run for a even saturation of the coco
