Yes i can. So my PH meter just got here and after leaving it in the soil for 10 minutes it's saying my PH is over 8.. it's supposed to be 6.5 right?? What the hell should I do :x

...this can happen sometimes when the soil is hot, they can make it through but it's not a guarantee.

Probably answered this right away. Thank you everyone as well. Soil too hot due to underwatering I would assume from the readings. Lesson learned, Do not skimp on a meter.

Yeah, I agree. It’s always worth checking the water supply but I’m certain Ice called it straight away with regards the soil.

Btw...you’re keeping the soil as loose as poss when you’re filling the pots?

Would "Ericaceous" soil help in this situation, at least for the immediate future?

Bringing down the water pH is gonna be easy once that is dialled in.

This is just my opinion so do not do anything based on my blithering idiocy, but if they are, as you say, 17, now 18 days old, honestly, I would be starting again.

In the right environment, you'll piss pass these in about 10 days from seed.

I see.. Thank you for the straight advice. That is what I was afraid of, but after reading multiple grow diaries they don't even seem nearly at the 14 day growth mark.
Here I am pushing day 17-18.
Underwatering due to the plethora of warning of overwatering, seems both are equally deadly.
Does seem a bit silly. 80$ for 5 seeds and I'll probably be looking at just 2 plants out of the 4 germinated making it to adulthood. However, I am hopeful. Lots of good advice on this forum I really appreciate the counsel.
My seedling that just popped looks really lush I'm wondering how you transplant a seedling from a 3 gal to another 3 gal. That way I can use the optimal soil, I was thinking of cutting it out with a knife?
