Cant even tell its been sprayed except for brown pistils. My next go I'm going to try sts.
Oh really, I cut the branch off as I ended up getting my male plant ( I like regs and making fems was last resort ) anyway, what did you dilute your cs with? I've heard mixed reports using the sts so interested how you go with that.

I just added distilled water until it was at 25ppm. Maybe the wrong way to go about it but it seemed to have worked.

STS looks a lot simpler and less spraying. only issue I had was finding a good source for the sodium thiosulfate in Canada. Ending up buy from a guy on etsy from Bulgaria of all places. The silver nitrate was easy enough off ebay.

No pollen yet because that is not a pollen sac. That is the male pre-flowering bud. The kind of "flower bud" that is in normal, non-canna lingo. Once it opens up, you'll see the real pollen sacs, the anther. Just look up "Stamen" and "anther".

And congrats on getting the young seeds on. Nice work.

Sorry I lost track of the thread Jonny. Going back to post #35 I would agree that that looks very much like seed forming. A pic brought over from gallery would be better that thumbnail pic for clarity.

If you click the thumbnail it should blow up pretty big. It does on my desktop anyways.

Since that post both buds that I have dusted are getting more and more of those green seeds popping out. Should be a pretty good harvest. Still trying to decide what im going to do when it comes time to harvest the bud. The rest of the plant is getting pretty close and the seeds look like they have a ways to go. Thinking partial harvest of the plant and let the seeds go....just dont want to shock the plant.

Partial harvest would be fine for her Jonny. Don't be tempted to collect seeds too soon, the longer you leave them the more mature seeds you'll collect. if I remember correctly six weeks from pollination they're good.
