    Default clarification please

Can anyone explain to me if plants are considered to be "in flower" as soon as they are put on a 12/12 light/dark regime or does it take a week or so for them to start flowering...When I see pics of plants on google images that are in day 25 of flower is that 25 days of 12/12 or 25 plus an initial 7 days to get it started?Does this make sense??

Some people count from day of flip and some after a week or so I think, so what ever makes ya happy. I count it from the day I flip, only done it once but I'd carry on counting from the first day of 12/12 from now on

I always count from first signs of white hairs. On some plants, that is as early as 6 days, and as long as 15 days. Your Indica tin to flower faster than your Sativa.

I track both, just so that I can tell how long that strain takes from flip to pistils.

Nice bit of 730nm mixes this up quite a bit

Generally whatever makes the grower or breeder look better is what folk will use.

From flip is objective, from pistils is completely subjective imho.
