I honestly don't know bud, I've never had experience with that particular model lol

Reviews seems a little low, but at the end of the day you could give it a whirl if you wanted if it's easy and you don't mind returning it (in case of any issues arising)....

I personally went for a much higher litre capacity (30 L), because I was using 20L a day on my girls, so you might wanna keep that in mind too.

    20ltrs a day
Yesterday I done 4ltrs each with 12hrs break. 10am then 10pm but I think I'll just stick to 2ltrs a day for now its draining the run off is the killer. The old knees aren't the best lol.
I think I'll grab that wet vac and try it mate if it's ok I'll prob roll with 4ltrs each in a 24hr stint. And if its crap I'll prob change it and treat her to a new ironing board lol.

Yeah, I mean coco is definitely more work than soil with the shifting of water on the daily that's for sure..it's one of the reasons I've had to skip it for now and go with soil again..but I know coco really does bring in the big yields and I enjoy growing in coco a lot.

Much more control in coco..and I love how light and airy it is to grow in

I guess we all have to grow the way that suits us personally..one way is not necessarily the best solution for everyone.

Although I do understand what you're saying about the old knees but in 15L pots, 2L a day may not be enough..especially when they get bigger girls, but give it a whirl ..if you hit any issues, you can try to re-adjust as needed.

I see what you mean mate when the auqa farm was low I couldn't get the 2ltr carton filled so I used a 1ltr milk carton and when slowly poured into 1 pot nothing came out of the end. I'm getting decent run off with 2ltrs as is but yeah they get bigger they gonna get hungry'er an thirsty'er.
I must say I'm enjoying this current grow. Reading up on tips from others then brainstorming how you can adapt it to suit your own needs. I think I'll go with what B1unt suggested and make a slanted table and let gravity do most of the work for me in the nxt run

Tardy but present. Looking really nice, Cannabug.
Will be cheering from the sidelines. Good luck!

Really liking that sloped table idea, too.

Stupid question: What’s an aquafarm? (Sounds like a combination of a fish tank & a field)

I am at about 5 weeks into flower & my 5 girls have just started taking 3L each to give me 5L total run off (so 3L goes into each 16L pot, 2L stays & I get either 1L or 33.3% run off depending on which tariff you’re using).

I am just using a 20L bucket which I’ve scratched measurement lines on. I throw an air stone & pump in it, gradually add nutes one at a time to let them mix to my target EC.

Then I start adding ph down & keep checking & adjusting every 15 minutes or so until it’s stable, then scoop the nutes out the bucket with measuring jugs, into the watering can & party on

Once that’s done I leave the run off to drain into my waste container, fill the bucket back up with tap water & leave it to stand for 24 hours for the next feeding. The bucket has a handle so is easy to transport & also pour out the last of the nutes.

Half an hour later go retrieve the run off container, empty it & put it back. Nice & simple with basic kit.
