So, I've been having major water issues since the 1st of Sept. when the well that serves our community (about 150 houses) went bad. First, the old well was contaminated with super salty (brine), metal laced water, when a new well drilled 30 feet away contaminated the old well. That destroyed my summer outdoor grow as well my vegetable garden (not to mention my water heater!). The salt level has gone down to an acceptable level, but we have some issues with Selenium, and are still under a "Do Not Drink" order. We can wash clothes, shower, wash dishes, with it but we still can't drink it. I checked the PH of the water the other day and it's 7.19 out of the tap. What's the best way to bring the PH down to say 6.2? I was thinking about just adding vinegar to the water. Any suggestions?
