I did this a few years back in an attic. I did the floor and the partition only. I put 2 layers of 15mm sound damping PB then have a 20 mm air gap then 75mm of sound insulation then another air gap and Finally another 2 layers of SDPB. I built a floating floor on isolation mounts and 100mm insulation went in there as well. Made an air tight door with 30mm mdf and its completely silent now and doesn't pull heat from the house in winter. Hopefully you don't get a load of banana timbers or framing gets more interesting.
If i didnt smoke i drink myself to death.

Instead of a tent, you're only 2 walls away from having a cab.

If you make the cab bigger and up the lighting accordingly, you can take a break every summer. No heat worries and the same annual yield.

I’m going to stick with a partition wall and tent mate, the wall is to only hide what I’m doing lol.

I’ve got all the kit to handle temps so it should be golden all year

Well the wall is up, just need to insulate it + hang the door. Then get the ceiling put in and we’re ready to get the tent in I might get the tent all set up then il just plod along insulating it all as I go

Seems you've done some framing before. This ain't no rookie attempt by the looks of it.

    Rooting for ya.
