    Lightbulb Digital Ballast switcher

Sorry to start another thread but advanced search bar with digital ballast typed in didn't give me my answer.
I know when you switch hps setups off I hear you need to leave it atleast 15mins between switching it back on.
My question is - does the same rule apply when turning the switch up or down on the ballast setting.
Can I just switch it from 600w to 400w without switching it off?
    Thanks in advance folks

Good question...The 15 minute wait or cool off period is more to do with the re-strike of the lamp...I've switched through the wattage on the ballasts before whilst its lit without issue.

Your words good enough bud. I'll switch it down to 400 to avoid cooking the wee ones. Thanks again mate

My Christmas tree should have fire extinguishers hanging from it rather than decorations lmfao
