    I'll be pricking these out at the weekend. I'll be keeping two of each then thin down to one when they start to properly get going. It's good to see my own seeds germinate and grow from last year

    They have well cracked on to be fair. Ive taken the prop lid off tonight for 12 hours to see how they go on with that led.
    If people need the seeds, I can supply them. Got hundreds of them all apart from the far right which I bought

    What sort of light cycles do the chilli plants need would they be similar to MJ?

    I like them as close to 18hr light as possible. They arnt photoperiod sensitive like canna so they benefit from long warm sunny conditions

    Pricked out and potted up. Only did 1 of jalapeño, it wasn't a good producer last year, but ill give it another go. Gone into some seed compost with half a teaspoon of Q4 around the roots. Ill keep them sat on the heated prop for now untill we see some movement

    Peppers are day-neutral and don't require a specific length of photoperiod.


    Taking it to the extreme, we can probably get good results with everything between 4-24h. Some say that peppers need to rest at night while some growers say they get good results with 24/0. between 16-18h seems to be the most popular photoperiod. My peppers are thriving with 18h and 500 PPFD, which results in just above 30 DLI (Daily Light Integral):

    Settled in now and have noticed a bit of movement the fly trap is loving it aswell
