    Default Pressing hash bars

Anyone got any experience making hash bars? Don't need to know how ya gained it Just need some advice regards pressing enough dry sift to make a soft hash bar like this dry sift bar ere. After my next chop session I should have enough to make at least a 4-5 oz bar of hash.

I've got a 1 ton rosin press (more for pressure), vice, clamps etc. I can buy or make a mould if needed. Do I need to warm the kief slightly before pressing it? Unbelievable how cack google is for results on how ppl turn the dry sift into bars like this. Any help appreciated

I'm NOT askin for help to pretty somethin up so I can sell it. Just really want a nice slab of decent hash, who wouldn't?

    Anythin like this.

I have two I use, one for Keif and one for Weed. It does help to warm the Keif A few minutes around 100C, but not too long. You also want to put your bottom on with screws you can take out. Makes it much easer to get Keif out. lol

Think I've got a vice in the garage. How long do you leave it pressed for? Do you just use as much manual pressure as you can muster?

Yes I bear down as hard as I can. Wait A few minutes, and see if you can press some more, until I can't, then leave for several hours, and check to see if it will press anymore, and then remove.

Nice one mate, cheers for the advice. How do they turn out? Are they rock hard or still soft enough to bend?

If you want it to be softer or more brittle, press without Heating it, just cold press.

Ok man nice one. The problem I've had on the few occasions I've pressed some hash is that it doesn't just tear off like the soft hash I've had in the dam and it doesn't crumble when burned, just kinda melts and reforms on my fingers lol.
