It didn't come out like the pics I found on google but I did learn a thing or 2 tbf. Past attempts have been with alot less kief, so the end result was always incredibly thin and looked really brittle. Same happened this time at first but only because the hash came out long and thinnish. Cut it in half, put the 2 bits together and pressed it again and ended up with that.

So I think thickness can be your friend here but it takes such a lot to make a decent weight of hash. Next time I'll go for less pressure, see how little I can put on. If the kief doesn't get warm enough and there isn't enough pressure it'll just fall apart after a while I guess, like that kinetic sand, if you've seen that. It's a good smoke though, just crumbles in but as it should do. That kinda crumbly I'm ok with. Before it just kinda broke in to small bits, not turn to dust like this does. So much terminology, but I guess this is proper pollen, maybe someone correct me if I'm wrong. Still sticky but not so much it clings to ya fingers and crumbles well. March time I'll be collecting more kief

Niiccee MrC looks nice man unlike the amount of shit solid I’ve smoked in the past man fuck knows the shit that was in it, nothing like doing your own ey, I’ve tried it a few times and different ways, with a bottle filled with hot water, with the iron and with a small handpress thing for less than a tenner, but as you say you need ALOT and the tiny amount I get off my plants is nowhere near enough lol but I still like trying to make it

Cheers pal, I'm happy with it. The thing I'm comin to love, and appreciate tbf, about weed is the diversity of use. Lookin into rosin, hash and medicinal use etc is like a positive rabbit hole Yeh, kit can be pricey to do things to a high standard but this hobbies potentially life long for me so investing in gear doesn't put me off too much as long as I can see myself using it for a long time to come.

Takes some doin. I've only ever used trim, if I used buds too then I imagine the yield would be 2-4 x more, if you only smoke hash 4 plants would be good for a few oz of hash, goin on a rough estimate from what I've pulled off trim.
