    Default Ph stick problems

    Any one got one of these sticks. I have 2 1 calibrated fine 1 seems to me missing number 7. Ph buffer 7 i put stick in it bounce from 6.8 to 8 then stays on 8. I hit calibrate and it sets it to 9.1 very stresfull its about to go out the window

    I use the yellow ones but not them ones. Mine has a calibration adjustment screw at the back.
    I know they are cheap but when you get a good one it seems ok.
    As UV said keep the closest one to true reading then add or divide if needs be mate. They can be frustrating I once ordered expensive batteries for mine and soon as I took the old ones out and added my new ones the stupid thing wouldn't turn on lol

    1 wasnt mine it was a freinds i took mine round his and our sticks were reading difrent so i took his and orderd some ph buffer his was ok but mine wouldnt set to 7 on cal only 9.1 argggggg. Its gone out the window now piece of s***. Iv orderd a bluelab now

    Agreed, I used one of those £15 jobbies and it calibrated once then never worked properly again. Ordered an essentials ph pen, admittedly the first one went back but the replacement has been working fine for a while, use it quite regularly.

    Iv been using that 1 for few years. Maybe thats why iv been having problems . Oh well bluelab ones are ment to be ok so what the hey we live and we lern lol

    I have had 2 x blulabs in the last year, if you let it go too dry its shite. I just reverted back to buying a 30 quid one and if I get two grows out of it I'm happy.
