    Default problem meanwhile driver

    Hi

    meanwhile driver hlg-480h-48a.
    wiring parallel.
    6 2ft Samsung LED strips sl-b8v52160ww s62300138 46.0v(lf=1120mA)r0.0.
    3 LED strips 3000k.
    3 LED strips 3500k.
aluminium grow frame 45" space in between LED strips 6 1/2 inches
    grow tent 4x4.6.7.
    Grow area 2' x 4'.
    I only grow 3 plants.
    scrog net.

    Problem meanwhile driver.
When I built this I had just switch to flowering stage I noticed the leaves were turning brown and burning I know it's down to the driver I can't remember exactly but I set the current at 1666 and the voltage 45.5.
But if I set the voltage any less 45.5 LED lights are very faint. I have very little play on the voltage side it's either too low or too high.
The lights have to be kept roundabout 30" above canopy any lower and they start to burning in veg and flower the only trouble is I haven't got enough height in tent.
LED strips plants were very stretched and buds were airy.
So I stopped using them and went back to my T5 for the next grow no problem.

This is what I would like to do.
    Example.
Seeds and clones early veg stage
Wattage from wall from 100/250 watts.
Height from canopy 15 to 20 inches.
    In flowering
    wattage 300/370.
When flowers have finished stretching bring light down 15 to 20 inches and if I start running out of headroom start dimming the lights.
Like I said I haven't got a lot at head room.

what I would like to know.

1 originally I built the frame with 8 led strips and then removed 2 strips thinking that would solve the problem but never did, so do I use 6 or 8 strips. I know that will make a difference to what size driver to buy

2 3000k 3500k is that a good combination for veg and flower.

3 what would be the best meanwhile driver for dimming up and down in small increments.

4 I keep thinking about this one, my original T5 Phillips HO 4ft 54w 8 tubes no problem, replace them for Phillips HO t5 LED tubes they seem to have a high lumen output, but instead of using 8 tubes would 6 tubes do it, I was happy and it only for personal use, like a said just thinking.

    Thanks.

Meanwell driver is fine by the way, the choice of meanwell driver is the issue.

Leds are semi conductors and based on current. You have chosen a voltage based driver.

Dont worry, even brands do this on lights they sell
