Not nessery, you could just go for one of the 550, 600, or 650, I think any of them would replace

I'm sure Vivid has A good 650, but I perfer the 650 Demon my self from Budget, but I know gardro will have something to say about that. lol

HLG650R produces more PPF than a double ended gavita 1000w at 630W from the wall. Saving 400w per grow will save you £1-1.50 per day in eleccy. A 12 week auto on 24/0 that £100 quid per grow

or £400 per year

HLG350R outdoes a 600w gavita. Blue61 has just put on one on the forum

Those are independently proven results using lab and the reports are on the website, not what a hazed stoner reckons

Basically you need diablo boards to do that amount of efficiency. 648 leds on each. The cheapo brands use less than half that

but still charge 70-80%

The normal R spec boards will be around 20% less light for each watt but still great result and a chunk cheaper.

I've also been trying to make sense of the lights on the vivid website, so you are not the only one.
