Default First time, trying to understand trichomes!

Hi, so my plant is nearing harvest. I’m basically just checking trichomes everyday until I see they’re ready.

From what I understand, you usually want a mix? Cloudy but maybe a few ambers? Depending on what high you’re going for?

What would you say these trichomes are? I feel like I can see a few ambers but are they mainly cloudy or clear?

I’ve seen all of the charts that explain it, but struggling to decide which mine are!

(Sorry for the bad photos, best I could get)

    Thanks!!

You want to be checking the buds themselfs not the leaves as the trichomes on the leaves usually mature faster than the bud/calyx's

Invest in a loupe mate. You can get a clip on one for your phone for a few bucks.

Can see a lot of cloudy and a few amber in one of the pics but as said you need to be looking at the actual bud to get a true idea of what stage they are at, all the best mukka your very close

There's no definitive answer because it's down to your personal preference. The same plant can give many types of stone depending on when you chop her. Do regular snip tests. As it will be quick dried, it will be on the harsh side and maybe not taste great but it's how you enjoy the stone that matters.

I'm sedentary enough as it is without adding couchlock so I chop earlier than most. Some enjoy the couchlock so chop later than others.
