I’m not no soil man and never will be the quality of the soils that you can get compared to the old quality is how you say shit! It’s turned out to fast not given enough time to cook tidy. Not like in the past where the quality was the main thing and producers took pride in their product. But as for killing bugs just tip petrol into it and then some bleach that should do the trick!!
No doctor I’m not taking my tablets anymore i told you i like my new wings and velvet legs! Ohh a square ball yes for the no sense of humour crowd from (But as for killing bugs) is just me being a twat it’s one of my bad days so please don’t take it seriously

That soil is perfect for reusing right now but if you have gnats then it means your soil is holding too much water. I had the same problem. I mixed in about 1/2 coco coir and drilled holes in the side of my buckets. It seems to have fixed my gnat problem. Also if you use bug killer or anything like that your going to kill all the good bacteria in you soil.

Cheers man, soil is damp, not sure if there is any in there, it's just that I always seem to get them, even to a small degree. Should be pretty sound as this grow they're not that noticable

I thought that was the whole idea of soil to just keep on reusing it till it got too the stage where its that full of the good organic cultures that if you didn’t lock it down the stuff would just walk off it is that full of ohhh mamma good organic culture. Then again i am a hydro lazy arse lol( if you haven’t tried it thats what most people think about hydro) wrong by the way, just saying. But back to the original point about the soil I always assumed that was the point of soil you could create the ultimate in the lady’s dream for settling their roots? Happy roots big beautiful fruits
