Trichomes

Hey up dudes.
Question is a simple one really. When trichomes go Amber and we want to harvest. Is this the same for purple strains that turn purple instead?
I've noticed a fair few trichomes with purple head rather than Amber. Also not much cloudy going on and a also a few Amber's on the sugar leaves.
Breeder says 8-9 weeks flower time. I'm starting week 8 today and I'm not seeing the trichomes doing there normal thing. Still got plenty of white pistils shooting out so a couple of weeks to go at least I think.

I was told to just ignore the purple ones.
My last harvest I had 2 purple ish phenos. Lots of purple. But there were still some amber trichomes

Ye man its real haha. Il try my best tonight when I water. But my hands aren't steady enough anymore
