So when you're pheno hunting do you take say, 10 stardawg seeds for example, grow them out but take cuttings off each plant in veg, then flip them and see which has the phenos you like the most, and keep the cuttings off that plant?

spot on. with the lemon og kush, because i usually get a 6pack, ill keep 3 or 4 best phenos and run a second time. keeping only 2.

Do you use females found from reg seeds or just use the fem version. I read somewhere using fems can cause hermie seeds, no idea of the truth to it though.

my best mothers were from reg seed and i prefer them that way. i lost them during a move a few years back. absolutely gutted.
had a ntiro express i won on this site. still have 5seeds left was by rockster. also an alien fire strawberry og kush that took 2 seeds to find proper strawberry taste and smell. seeds no longer available . and the best of them was the all purple BOGK by hillbilly. also won on here. popped last seed i had few months ago and it didnt take after so many years.


lemon og kush fems now ive never had hermie and they take alot of stress. kept over 4years and no probs. good genetics i have to say. proper solid in that sense.

these GSCs from blackskulls are only the 2nd and 3rd fem seeds ive decided to re run apart from lemons that is. and i will do so again. at least one of them will be long term after this grow. pretty solid genetics imo.

reg seeds imo are a hell of alot more solid in general. one still needs to find right phenos though as with fems.

ive got decent genetics to run a few times now but i do hope to find some nice regs to grow out this year. maybe even have a go at making breeding my own. ive always wanted to and already got names. lol

I had a cple oz of this strain called sour tangie, pretty sure it's east coast sour diesel x tangie, one of them mouth watering strains where no matter how stoned you were or what you had to do, I'd always want one more joint. That's what I'd like my first bash to be.

So far I've just been recreating established feminised strains by taking two of same strain, reversing one and pollinating the other one. i'm not trying to make something new or different Mr, just making lots of seeds of strains I really like. This time will be different though as there are two different C99's in the project.

Ok mate, I've read a bit about that, crossing same strains for a better result. I've got some reg skunk #1 seeds I wouldn't mind doin that with. A few places aren't shipping seeds to the UK atm, plus humboldt being in limbo, best to do what you can to make your own. I'll be putting a mother of any strain I like out the way for future use

Have a look into keeping small mother plants, that bubba kush is worth saving from my experience. The zkittles a humboldt too?
