Default Homegrown vs street bought bud

Why is it that homegrown bud is different visually and seems much lighter and airer than street bought bud? Street bought bud always seems heavier, denser is it because it's grown in factory conditions or do the commercial guys use PGR'S?

Most of your street weed comes from Mexico and Columbia, all full of seeds and grown in areas as big as 50,000 acre's. In very hot climate's. Only reason I can think of. The right condition's and homegrown will be just as dense as street weed without the seeds. JMO

What was said here is Bang on ! I mean sometimes you do have a idea that it is home grown but that could be the strain or poor conditions maybe. other than that if you do it right with a fair amount of practice and learning you can easy get top quality buds and smoke. Take a look at what people managed to produce on here it's just incredible and it's all home grown

Environment is the biggest overlooked factor in this IMO
