    There are chilli's that will cross with normal bell peppers, you can get quite hot bell peppers this way. Lol, I have several seed packs for normal gardening this year, could add a few types of chilli's to the mix.

    do you also trim back the roots to maintain them in that pot size? coco right?

    might actually have to try growing some chillies for the first time.
    how do they do on a canna light schedule?

    I haven't given the roots any attention until recently (the peppers in the back row).
    They are in coco coir and are all getting 18h photoperiod but I'm sure they would do just as well with both 16 or 20h.
    They've been in 5" pots for a very long time and were just transferred to a slightly larger 6" pot. While it was obviously way overdue for repotting, there were no visible ill effects from this above the surface. The canopies are trimmed every time they are watered, snipping of new shoots and plucking a couple of leaves
