Tell us what would suit your needs/budget & I'm sure a recommendation or two would be forthcoming

Problem is, you don't have sufficient light or heat...When you water the plant it's going to take a long time for it to process it because the plants metabolic rate is at a snail's pace...The compost becomes waterlogged for a prolonged period of time which then becomes depleted in oxygen smothering the roots and causing the plant to droop...In addition to that, the leaves become engorged with water unable to respire due to low temps and possibly high humidity which just compounds the issue..

    Welcome to the forum
I'm no expert but I'd suggest a cheap reptile type heat mat and a dual spec cfl lamp and a spare cupboard
You've took the plunge and grew a bag seed so why not hang around and learn how to clone and keep yourself sufficient on smoke that you grew instead of handing money over to buy it?

Is your garden private enough to grow some plants there? That would be the least expensive way of becoming self sufficient.

For indoors, is there a spare room that can be used?

We don't want to go overboard really, but we'd be willing to spend a bit here and there to accommodate the one plant, maybe two at the most. We're just unsure what to look for or how much we might need to consider spending. I think the lighting is where we struggle the most. I've watched some videos on youtube and such but I'm still not sure what specifically to look for in lights. Any recommendations would be most welcome!

Sadly not. We are in a semi-detached house and while we do have a courtyard we use in the summer it is also accessible by the neighbours so they can take their bins out so its not entirely discreet. The house we're in is quite small, one bedroom, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom. We keep it in the lounge as the sun comes through the window most of the day when it's sunny.

    Thank you for the welcome!

Would you be able to recommend which wattage bulb to look for? We don't have a spare cupboard unfortunately but have looked briefly at small grow tents, but we don't really want a setup thats going to take up much space or cost too much to run.

We know that we won't be able to supply ourselves off of the one plant (especially at the rate we've been growing ), but it's a start and we'd love to produce our own buds one day. Hopefully when we have a bigger house in the future we'll be able to keep ourselves topped up haha.

Sadly, getting enough gear for a decent indoor yield costs money.

You could do a minimal 600w hps auto grow in your bedroom every year or two. It will mean 3 months of sleeping in the living room on a camp bed. Hey it's an adventure. Once the bud is jarred up, a few hours work will have the bedroom looking like nothing ever happened.

For equipment cost per first harvest ounce ratio, I can't think of a lower cost start up than a 600w hps open plan grow in a bedroom.

Honest answer, kill it and start over, this plant requires care and attention, alongside a fairly tropical climate to grow in, a uk windowsill isn't going to cut it.

There are things you can do to help the plant recover, new soil and a larger pot would help, I would guess that the roots are small, so you could repot with the new soil, maybe add some perlite. Try to maintain at least 12 hours of light to keep it in the veg stage. You could then think about a more suitable environment for the plant. A small tent and a 250w light doesn't cost much to run.

Or something intended for food, like tomatoes.

We did have a thread somewhere with all the essential equipment listed, without it being cheap and nasty but decent enough for a grow. I did look but have not found it yet.
