    Default Cleaning

    Hi guys

Just wondering, what are people's tent cleaning habits after a grow?

Also, how do you get around dust getting in? I've got a fair amount on top of my light and the filter sleeve is getting grubby

I usually just use fairy liquid and hot water, give everything a wipe down, after hooverin it. I used to get loads of dust, now I've put tights over the intake I get next to none. It's gonna suck in as soon as you open the door if the extractors on. I also had gaps in the ceilin so put duct tape over them, nowhere near as bad now.

Seems like a silly question but thought I'd ask as want the tent totally clean before starting the next one. My intake is a mesh panel so thought that would stop the dust. I'll chop up some tights and tape over it, se if that works.

I use antibac spray of any kind usually what ever Mrs Badger has in the cupboard, I've also got an ozone generator which I leave on for a few hours and then let the room vent

After each run I pull my lights out and hoover/dust the heatsinks and leds.

Then hoover the tent out. Brush off the intake filters and fan blades/guards with a paint brush before hand.

Carbon filter pre filter I hand wash with warm water and washing up liquid, rinse and dry.

I have a spray bottle I fill with 3% hydrogen peroxide and spray the inside down and wipe it out. Leave the extractor on for an hour to fumigate it

Then go in with a spray bottle of 99.9% isopropyl alcohol and do the same again.

Leave to dry and re add the lights.

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

I take the pre filter off and put it through the washing machine.
I don't dry it in the dryer though. Don't want it to shrink.
Hang it for a day and it's good to go.
