Thank you once again M_C, I have seen one on my local grow shops site. It is rated 220 the the 20% off that you spoke about and that works out 176 and my filter is 200 do you think that would do the job

My 20% was industry standard a couple of year back. I doubt things have changed much!

But, by the time you have added in the bends, yup, sounds reasonable

TBH I give little thought to this so long as the filter is rated higher than the fan.

As said above, it's about the contact time. The filter companies have done all of the hard work by sorting out the flow rate

Hi M_C I called into my local grow shop today told him the problem I had and the advice I was given and I got a mixed flow fan with 2 speed settings on it. Low is 180 and high is 245 he said this should cure my problem. Hopefully it does lol
