    I seen this mate a swiftair XFLO100 - 220 m3/h and it's 4 inch would that do?

    That is double the flow of your current fan and the same as the one i used to run, you will need a carbon filter to match.

    No good having a fan that pulls air faster than the filter is rated for you will have the same problem with smell.

    The filter I have is rated for 200 fks I take it that would be way too strong for it

    The fan will be quoted without load. Try minusing around 20% for a filter so it would be closer to

    Thank you M_C, not to sound stupid so what your saying is I need a fan rated for 160 then or 240 then take the 20% off.

    TBH I give little thought to this so long as the filter is rated higher than the fan.

    As said above, it's about the contact time. The filter companies have done all of the hard work by sorting out the flow rate

    Thank you once again M_C, I have seen one on my local grow shops site. It is rated 220 the the 20% off that you spoke about and that works out 176 and my filter is 200 do you think that would do the job
