So I see there are autoflowers, and super autoflowers, does anyone know what the real difference between the two are? I'm now growing mostly indoors, in a 7x7x7 foot tent. Is it worth the extra money for the "super" autoflowers, or is it just hype.
I'm an old Humboldt guy, and back when I grew on a grander scale, there was just Indica, Sativa, or crosses, no fancy names/strains. In fact Indica was just becoming popular. I actually had a professor who was an expert witness for a marijuana trial in the 1970's. Guy got arrested for sales, his defense was that he was selling Indica, and at that time only Cannabis Sativa was illegal. The professor testified that while growing you can see the morphological differences between Sativa and Indica, but once trimmed, dried and in a baggie you can no longer distinguish between the two species (this was 10 years before DNA testing). Looked like the judge was going to rule in favor of the suspect, so the District Attorney dropped the charges to prevent a precedent that would of invalidated most of the marijuana laws in the state. Of course within two weeks the legislature changed the law to inculde all cannabis species. Sorry for the digression, but interesing information. All a mute point now, since recreational has been legal for a few years.
