I had one mate that was so fucked when it come to being able to work things out he actually phoned me one day years ago asking if i had some 4” nails he could have. So i just asked him what he was doing and the thick fucker was trying too put a ikea closet together needless to say it didn’t go well

The pots stand on their rims, that aside they look to me like they face up into the root ball, imo that shape is to guide the roots out.

There's all sorts of copies now but they all work equally well, I'm not saying your are copies just that they all work.

It's a tip worth passing on, anyone using airpots is looking for some edge :-) There's a couple of benifits to them that I've found, originally I made them to stop algae, it's just horrible looking stuff besides attracting pests, but some other benifits are helping in the fight with humidity, roots growing over the surface of the medium, I'm sure they would help prevent fly by egg laying lol :-) especially if you use them with womens nylon/tights over the pot.

A simple piece of black and white, cut it slightly big to give you a bit leeway for off center plants.

i cant help but praise these enough! one of the best choices i made was getting these. and i got the 6ltr ones. can pull 4-7 per pot depending on strain. the final root structure is so fibrous the coco just break apart easy.
