Default Unanswered: Can I burry a terrarium heating cable?

So I bought a this heating cable for terrariums thinking to burry it in a layer of sand for a heated propagation bed but now im not so sure this type of cable can be burried.

It shows a picture of clips with suction caps on the package and on youtube I'm seeing people tape this to the bottom of their terrarium tanks.

    What do you think?

Not sure how it would cope with the damp. Maybe sandwich it between two sheets of plastic?

Cable looks well sealed, I'm more worried that burrying it might make it over heat perhaps?

Its a 7meter cable that should heat the whole floor of my groom which has a somewhat oval 55*110 shower basin as the floor.

Heat mats and the such should have good certification like ETL or UL. If its got that then sure its fine. Reptiles like to chew things end of the day.

It's safe to bury. How many aquarium heaters are currently in use?

From what I understood they are typically placed on the underside of the terrariums/vivariums
But I'll just give it a try. Thanks for the responses folks
