    Default Led Grow Shop UK - HLG 100 Review: Krofam and MrCannab1sir Do Gelato Dream (Diary)

    First of all, i would like to thank Harry over at LedGrowShopUK for supplying me and MrC with a HLG 100 board.


    It's quite simple. As we both have the same light, we decided to go for the same strain and mainline our plant to keep it low and wide.
    I will be growing in coco and MrC will be in soil. when we pop seeds they will go under T5 until roots break the cube.

    First impression, WOW! thing nearly blinded me. i get flashbacks and see dots all over again just thinking about it.

    Light arrived pretty quick. well packaged and discrete.

    Looks a nice bit of kit. Definition of simplicity, screw the driver onto the board and plug it in, no wiring to do. Only slight negative so far is there's no dimmer, but on a 100w board I'm not sure how important it really is,

    soon see how well it handles sprouting seedlings. It came next day, well packaged, next to no chance of damage en route.

    The board itself is as light as a feather, you probably wouldn't even realise you were holding it if you had your eyes shut! It's only when you put the driver on that it has any real weight, even then it's easy to hold with 1 hand.

    Introduced my eyes to a new level of brightness, definitely brighter than my 100w equivalent. All in all a tidy, easy bit of kit I'm expecting good things from, we'll see...

    I grow with one.

    Couple tips.. Keep it at 30" or higher for seedlings and early veg and slowly lower it to 24 then slowly make it to 18 if the plants can take it. Go as low at 12" in flower easy.

    The connection on the board that you plug into isn't very tough... Try not to knock ot leaning into your tent.
