    Talking Pot size debate.

Alritey folks, so i see lots of people using 11-15+ litre pots, is there really any method in this madness, moreso in soil coco, not talking hydro as such here.

In my experience over say past 10+ years i have not noticed a single raise in harvest quantity with the same strains using many different size pot sizes.

I have got an average of 2oz per plant from all the following, 6.5 litre square pots, 18 litre pouch fabric bag things, and my preferred pots being 12 litre hempies, just because they require watering less often than the others.

    Just my tuppence.

I've been using 15ltr pot and yielding 4oz dry per plant but I've moved over to 20ltr fabric pot.

I'll be using the same system so I'm going to find out if there is any benifits, if there isn't I'll be dropping back down in size.

Running a drain to waste system so my pots have stands and there xl so fit a big pot size, curiosity got the better of me so thought what the hell ill fill the stands and pay a bit extra for coco and see for myself

I use 15L airpots for my autos. They would easily grow as well in a smaller pot... I think it's a hangover from my soil days

15l minimum for soil in any pot for me and that you have to water every day.
18-20l you might get away with every other day depending on the conditions and plant size. I dont think you can compare yeild to pot size I think its more down to cutting out the risk of problems. Be it running out of feed or the dirt drying out to quick. I like to play it safe and go bigger than I need

4L for 1 month growth, so 15L would do you 4 months.

I use 20ltr fabric pots. Water every 2 days once they are big enough.

20-62 litre, depending how I'm feeling. Not including starting seeds or cuttings.

I usually use 11L square pots, but I’m planning on vegging for longer this time so I’ve decided to go with the 20L pots.
