    Default hello from massachusetts

Hi, my names Samson & i love weed haha
I am currently in the middle of setting up my first ever grow op, i got a 4x4 tent at 72 inches in height, limited space so i don’t plan on growing anything “tall” by any means. I got the Spider Farmer SF4000 for the light source (which seems pretty freaking great). I haven’t had any experience with growing but am excited to see how it goes. I bought 3 different strains of feminized seeds; AK48, Bluedream, and Grandaddy Purp off of NirvanaShop, those should come in a couple of weeks and i’ll hopefully be ready to start germinating as soon as they come in. I plan on just starting with 3 plants, one of each strain or maybe just one plant that fills the tent to begin; haven’t made up my mind. My only goal is to be able to grow great flowers high in thc, and obviously learn for future grows. Any advice on which kind of medium i should use, and fertilizers would be helpful, Any tips at all really. TIA
    Samson

Nothing at all wrong with it Samson

    I love coco..and I also love soil.

With coco, you have much more control, bigger plants, bigger yields but little more work if you're hand watering as it needs daily watering. Also not as many pests.

In soil, it doesn't need as much watering, however, the control is not on point as it is in coco, problems/issues can show up weeks after any adjustments have been made. Pests can be a problem.

It's down to personal preference really...
