Default 1st grow - these aint looking too good :(

    So this is first try.

Im basically following the canna coco for new growers thread.

Iv got 3 seedlings in the tent. The 2 that look weird are what I had planned to use - autos from greenhouse, Glue/Gelato. The healthy looking one is from a seed that i got out of some ok weed i had a couple of weeks ago.

So firstly id like any opinions on whats up with these 2.

Im try and give some details:

I have them in tent with plenty of room. Temp 27~. Humidity is around 30% (a little low i know).

6ince filter, and pulling plenty of fresh air.

I have them under a 600w duel spec lamp - about 18 inches from seedlings. (I started them on a 250w CFL for a few days)

I was planning to run light 24/7 for the auto's (I don't know if the other seed is likely to be an auto?)

I have a circulating small fan in tent.

They are about 10 days old.

Feed - so my water is 0.01 I started them on water and Rhizotonic. the after a few days started adding A & B.

Started feeding 0.2ml per litre, added A + B until EC is about 0.4 and have gradually upped to 0.8 currently.

    PH - 5.9-6.0

So yea first question is what do you think is up with the 2 that look weird?? can they be saved?

And secondly if the healthy seedlier looking seedling is not likely to be a auto, how should i proceed in terms of light cycles.

    ok thanks for your help.

Feel free to laugh - they look lame, i know...

    Cheers fellas

600w is way to much intensity for seedlings and 18 inches is ridiculously to close. So basically you cooked them.

Put the CFL back on them about 20 inches away they will be good under that for a while and I would go to a 18/6 light cycle also.

They don't look too bad, natural light would be much better for pictures. 18 in with a 600 w is too close for seedlings, it would be okay when you're in flower later on. I would go for 24 in above the seedlings for now.

Just seems a blatant waste of power to me using 600w at this stage lol.

I’m as tight as a ducks arse lol

Autos? - Full power from the start

Photos? - No need for a fast start

0.01 EC would that not require some calmag adding at some point? IIRC you should bump the water to 0.25 - 0.3 with calmag if your starting water is so low << not 100% certain on this so wait for someone to confirm

Yep on the Canna website, it recommends raising the EC to 0.4 with Calmag before adding A+B..and I know Easy uses this method too with fantastic results

OK so sounds like I should get some calmag asap.

    Again, thanks for the input.

The 2 that were looking f00ked are starting to liven up a bit, just not sure if they are worth continuing with.
