Default TO PH SOIL OR NOT! help pls

Hello all. I see people are bored of this question but I have to ask since I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere. My girls are growing in a mix of mostly biobizz all mix, part light mix and perlite. I have 2 girls in just light mix and perlite. I am using biobizz nutrients also. My tap water ph is roughly 7.5, I do use a waterdrop filter directly on the tap and have been phing to around 6.5, should I be doing this or not. Will the soil be able to buffer itself? Sorry to ask but its frustrating getting answers.
    Thanks chaps

I genuinely cannot see the point in moderate conditions like the one you describe.

The soil has its own pH and will adjust the tap water to it.

I’ve rarely seen a good outcome from soil growers fannying with their pH although in extreme cases I’m sure it has a place.

Interesting, have you ever experimented with ph'ing? Thanks for the reply.

14 years, and have never PH anything but the soil it's self, before planting.

Thanks for the reply. Won't bother ph'ing then, thanks for the advice.

Personally, I feel that if you can drink the tap water, you're good to go BUT knowing the type of water you get from the tap - like hard or soft or somewhere in the middle - is far more important in soil where you're not necessarily equipped with an EC pen. Hard and soft extremes can be make or break a grow, especially using a one-stop-shop nutrient range like BioBizz.

Getting a handle on calcium and magnesium is a game changer for "out of the bag" soil growers.
