    Default Evening

    Hi , I'm Chris
    I'm a 58yo Australian Musician
I used to grow indoors about 20 years ago
    using channels and nft.
was a good thing , usually.
Had a run in with Nematodes
thand they were pretty awesomely bad . .
and persistant . . and long . . long living
I'm told that some have the charming tendancy to ,
after a good session of eating your plants roots
they can go up inside the end of the stem and kinda hibernate
which I thought was bullshit ,but
there were times my mate would come and say hey
i had one of them bugs fly out of a bag I was looking in
and I got that bag from you AGES ago . . .
and that happened half a dozen occasions, and to me as well, he was right.
    hmmmm .
so there has got to be some truth to the hibernation thing.
Not so long ago, if you were a commercial farmer or whatever , and you got nematodes?
No problem , they had this nifty solution of bulldozing and burning everything. .
so its a serious pain in the ass.
or used to be , then . .
Became known at my place , as 'The Toad"
You would have a slightly sickly plant , . not growinhg a lot.
    and newxt mornijg
one of your main barnches . . dead . . totally dead
and they would just annexe you out of the game
branch by branch , if they didnt take the whole plant at once
I notice there are a lot more treatments now , aimed at root eaters,
so I wasnt the only one , i'd say

And even worse, after that ,
I got a real bad case, of the worst pest you can possibly get
the blue uniform ones . .
    Oh, they were awful,
    no sense of humour either
although , one got me McDonalds ,
so they cant all be bad . . lol
    nice to be here
    cheers
