    Default Karsa NCRH adventures

So I've a really decent garden with decent soil where I'm at now. Trying to get it in line for the year for my family, but it's taking a lot of time so here we have a thread for me to add all my non cannabis related horticulture.
Where you'll find me growing the likes of pine trees, Lillie's, veg and herbs all sorts really.

So this year the missus has asked for veg so I got her 30 types

So for the moment. I'm germinating
    10x Siberian Fur
    10x Black Pine
    And a few Turk's Cap Lillie's

Will update with next round of seeds etc.

So on top of this, the missus has added multiple others to my list. Maybe a seed range of 30 veg and herbs box wasn't the right thing.

Half the tree's seeds have sunk so they're going on tomorrow

Ours needs the same but we're rented so not doing a great deal just making it nicer, more pleasurable to be in and safer for little one. Oh and with veg and herbs.. mostly pots but w/e I don't mind losing will be in the ground.

And tempted to sell the seedlings on for the pines and spruce etc.

I've got garlic in pots about 8 months old atm never brought inside but doing wonders in canna terra.

Anyway as an update on the side of the response:
    So we have -
    Sage (plugs)
    Red lettuce (plugs)
    Spring onion (plugs)
    Swiss chard (plugs)
    Chanteny carrots (pot)
    Garden sorrel (pot)
    Salad rocket (pot)
    Cucumber (pot)
    Broccoli (pot)

    And for plants
Black pine × 8 (1 still soaking) 5 in plugs 3 in (pots)
Turks Cap Lilly 1 (rest still soaking) (pots)
Siberian fir ×2 (rest still soaking) (pots).

    That's it so far...
Cut back all the bramble now burning through it slowly

The first picture looks similar to my garden only throw in some weaving Thorned brambles that I thought I'd cut while cutting the hedge but seems to have laughed at me and re-grew itself bigger

Had to start weaving through the hedge to target the bramble and rip it out, no doubt I've missed load's. I have some great weed killer, problem is it takes 3-4 weeks to kill off at the root.

That hedge at the back was triple the size till Christmas, neighbour decided to cut it down and fuck my gardens privacy. Didn't even ask... Or heads up. So real tempted to whack a trellis up and pop some of my Virginia creeper into some raised boxes. Same with where they've ripped the fence out of the hedge. Left so many holes that it's pointless having the hedge now.

Dunno about you all but I expect my garden to be private, not have random people trying to talk to me through a fucking bush...

Ah forgot to add my last post and lost the details. Feck

Karsa, would you consider doing a "clover lawn" at all?

I recently discovered "Purple Creeping Thyme" and wish I had the place to try it.
